    Stantec is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Water Program in Atlanta, GA.


    The Business Operations Administrator will assist with a wide range of duties in support of Program Management Services Team (PMST). This position will be part of the PMST, supporting the City’s $4 billion consent decree program, which is one of the most successful and longest running programs in the U.S.

    Your Duties

    This position will work under the general supervision of the Business Operations Manager, and will also provide as-needed support for the program's leadership team.


    The following are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive; this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned:

    • Create and update tracking logs, to track staffing requisitions, work requests, etc.
    • Schedule and manage meetings on behalf of the program, including interviews with candidates submitted from various partner firms
    • Assist with development and updating of various program presentations, including onboarding package for new employees, mandatory training modules, etc.
    • Maintain PMST SharePoint site, including site access requests, tracking logs, and fielding general site troubleshooting inquiries from team members
    • Assist leadership team in coordinating and updating schedules, work load/staffing forecasts, revenue and fee forecasts, weekly progress and status reporting, and other program delivery analysis duties
    • Assist as needed in preparing and reviewing program's monthly invoice and status reports, compiling data from various sources into a single invoice package for delivery to client
    • Other duties that arise associated with the management of a large, complex program of work involving multiple stakeholders
    • Some lifting of file boxes up to 25 pounds may be necessary

    Your Capabilities and Credentials

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience
    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Professional

    • Willing and able to lift up to 25 pounds


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Education: BS, Business Administration or similar 
    • SharePoint configuration and administration
    • Experience with creating and editing user-friendly PDF documents using advanced features of Acrobat Professional
    • Proficient with Access databases and Excel Pivot Tables (develop and manage)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
