    Our Environmental Services group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in marine biology, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources management, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, GIS, information management, environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, human health and ecological risk assessments, air quality permitting and reporting, pipeline compliance, stormwater permitting and planning, and audit support services . We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences to join our team and advance their career.

    Your Duties

    • Responsible for plans, assessments, studies, research, surveys, reports, and calculations of limited scope requiring application of prescribed engineering or technical methods or instructions from more senior engineers and environmental scientists. May be delegated responsibility for designing and implementing projects within competencies and experience.
    • Uses initiative and judgement in resolving problems, obtaining and analyzing data, designing or implementing tasks and in determining the intent of a specification or instruction. Uses appropriate judgement to solicit advice and direction from managers and advisors.
    • Oversees and inputs on specifications for routine technical surveys or routine field projects in order to assist in the management of field activities.
    • Solves problems by applying standards and following detailed instructions.
    • Responsible for making recommendations on the acceptability of work completed by contractors and others.
    • May assist project managers with specific tasks in designing, planning and estimating costs of projects.
    • Makes decisions within established guidelines, procedures and practices under the direction and approval of their supervisor.

    Your Capabilities and Credentials

    • Current student enrolled in a Bachelor of Science Civil or Environmental Engineering or Master of Science Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
    • Works under regular project and managerial supervision.
