    Your Duties

    The Consultant, Global Talent Mobility, in the HR Centers of Expertise (COE), is responsible for the successful delivery of integrated Global Talent Mobility services. This position collaborates with Regional HR partners, business leaders and employees to provide optimal guidance and solutions for all aspects of international assignments. The Consultant is a stakeholder within the broader Global Talent Mobility team to ensure compliance and consistency across continents and to contribute to the development of the Global Talent Mobility function.

    • Advises and oversees the coordination of all international assignments, transfers and Global Talent Mobility related aspects of international hires including but not limited to pre-departure/arrival planning and assignment support. Ensures communication is maintained with assignees, and relevant stakeholders throughout the assignment life cycle. Communicates with relevant HR Centers of Expertise partners and Regional HR about all assignee matters affecting Global Talent Mobility. Partners with Payroll, Finance and Accounting departments to ensure effective administration of all assignment aspects involving payroll, tax, expenses, etc. Effectively coordinates with vendors (e.g. tax, immigration, destination services, relocation, insurance, etc.).
    • Ensures that policies are consistently applied to ensure transparency and equitable treatment for all staff. Understands country differences and requirements from a Global Talent Mobility perspective relating to immigration, tax and insurance. Ensures appropriate records, files and databases are maintained. Effectively manages employee repatriation and ensures expeditious home country assimilation
    • Provides regular status reports on Global Talent Mobility activities within assigned Region, Global Talent Mobility and Regional HR Managers; escalates issues, as required. Compiles reporting on relevant metrics. Attends meetings, as needed.
    • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.


    Your Capabilities and Credentials

    • 5-6 years of direct Global Talent Mobility experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
    • HR Generalist experience is an asset. Experience specific to developing and/or administering assignment policies is preferred. Must have flexibility to participate in meetings across different time zones.
    • PHR, SPHR or CHRP preferred.




    • Microsoft Office Suite;
    • HRIS Systems (preferably Oracle);
    • Global immigration processes and best practices;
    • Assignment policy administration;
    • Global Talent Mobility assignment life cycles and the inherent issues;
    • Human Resources general policies, procedures, guidelines, best practices and principles;
    • Human Resources related jurisdictional laws, legislation, rules and regulations for North America required; multi-national knowledge preferred;
    • Customer Service principles;
    • Project Management principles;
    • Vendor management;
