Within the Stantec community, we have an Environmental Services (ES) operating unit which includes a team of professionals focused on serving multinational manufacturing companies across their global enterprise. Our services span the entire facility life cycle, including facility siting, environmental permitting, EHS due diligence for acquisitions, EHS support to operating facilities, plant decontamination and demolition, and contaminated land cleanup. Working across our global platform requires not only knowledge of national and local regulations and regulatory enforcement, but also an understanding of political and economic conditions, depth of local expertise, safety, security, language, and culture. Just as important, our clients expect the local team to understand their business drivers and expectations. To meet this challenge, Stantec uses a Global Account Management Structure to provide responsive, consistent delivery of high quality work products. Our structure includes a Global Account Manager who oversees the client relationship, Technical Leaders who direct technical processes, and Regional Client Manager who are responsible for staff assignments and quality.
Stantec is seeking a senior professional to serve as Account Manager within our Environmental Services group. The Account Manager’s role is to understand the client’s growth strategies, initiatives, needs, and expectations and then translate that understanding into project awards. The Account Manager communicates the client’s needs and expectations, leads the marketing and pursuit of new opportunities, coordinates projects awarded to Stantec, and monitors project execution to ensure delivery is consistent with the client’s expectations. The Account Manager works in collaboration with our Technical Leaders and Regional Client Managers to ensure client satisfaction, with the ultimate mission of becoming our client’s trusted advisor.
Our ideal candidate will be geographically located east of the Mississippi and will have pre-existing relationships within manufacturing companies, along with a keen ability to organize information, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide a logical framework for customer service. This candidate will have sufficient understanding of our service offerings in order to identify opportunities to grow existing services, offer “other” or new services that meet client needs and expand our geographic coverage for the client.
