Your Duties

An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Project Engineer with municipal and land development experience. As a successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to plan, analyze and design land development projects within the Community Development market sector. A strong candidate would possess a working knowledge and understanding of the private development entitlement process, as well as the ability to address the technical requirements of such projects. 

  • Preparation of designs for municipal land development projects.
  • Development and delivery of calculations for site grading, establishment of utilities and roadways requirements for translation into working drawings.
  • Develop and maintain positive & sustainable client relationships, as part of the team.
  • Management of project contracts and financial documentation.
  • Involvement in bid preparation including RFP, addenda, and tendering documentation.
  • The oversight of drafting and design output from other engineers and drafting staff.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Utah.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with a proven track record working on land development projects.
  • Strong understanding of the land development planning and entitlement processes. 
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D for design purposes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with minimal supervision. 
  • A self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. 
  • A commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
