Stantec’s Rocklin, CA office is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our Water group.


Your Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Work individually or with a team to undertake the design of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure (e.g. pipelines, pump stations, lift stations) 
  • Prepare reports, design drawings, construction specifications
  • Knowledge of trenchless technologies for the installation and rehabilitation of utilities
  • Liaise with clients and sub-consultants
  • Ensure that the project’s/client’s needs are met in a timely and effective manner
  • Construction contract administration and site inspection services
  • Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP) by interviewing the perspective client, preparing Statements Of Qualifications (SOQ) and Proposals, and participating in selection interviews
  • Prepare scopes of work, fee estimates, and schedules for design and construction phases of projects

Your Capabilities and Credentials

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil or Municipal Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of consulting experience, primarily in municipal infrastructure, with a minimum of 4 years experience in project management of civil/municipal infrastructure projects (conveyance of water, storm and wastewater)
  • California Professional Engineer Registration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects.
  • Strong commitment to the engineering profession and willingness to promote our profession through community outreach and service.
  • Desire to learn and grow in your career
