Your Opportunity

Our Water sector, which brings together many of the world’s top engineers and scientists, sees water a bit differently—as a single holistic system rather than as unconnected networks divided by jurisdictional boundaries. We use this perspective to help communities tap into water’s potential. Throughout the life cycle of capture, use, reuse, and discharge, our team optimizes every facet of a water system. Whether a project calls for planners, designers, construction managers, or facility operators, we have the right experts to provide creative, yet practical, water solutions. Through our cost-effective strategies, we’re helping communities increase their water efficiency and protect their water resources for future generations. Join our team as we create new ways to tap into water’s vast potential.

Your Duties

Responsibilities will vary with project assignment and may include the following;

  1. Participate in multi-disciplinary teams on projects. 2. Conduct technical evaluations supporting water supply, water and wastewater treatment, modeling, planning and design. 3. Conduct field inspections, as necessary, (e.g. collection systems, facilities, and water quality sampling) under the supervision of a resident engineer or project manager. 4. Perform project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports. 5. Comply with all company policies and procedures. 6. Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
  2. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  3. Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week during the Spring Semester 2018.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  1. In progress toward earning a Bachelor’s degree minimum or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.
  2. Related coursework or previous Internship in water treatment, wastewater treatment, hydraulics, hydrology, and water resources analysis a plus.
  3. Intern candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited degree program and in Junior or Senior status.
  4. Proficient with basic computer software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
  5. Must maintain minimum 3.0 GPA each semester.
