Our Philadelphia, PA office has an immediate need for an entry level Interior Designer with proven design skills, understanding of architectural practice, and a desire to be involved in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Your Duties

The Interior Designer is responsible for assisting the Design Team in all aspects of the design process as delegated by the Senior Interior Designer or Interior Designer. 

  • Become familiar with the Project Team and organization;
  • Become familiar in the office standards, ie transmittals, filing system, etc.;
  • Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Resource Library and its organization;
  • Become familiar and prepare Stantec's standard presentations and documentation;
  • Become familiar with Stantec's services;
  • Gain a full understanding of the design process; Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation and Contract Administration processes and research required during these phases;
  • Understanding of Design Intent;
  • Assist with submittal review process;
  • Assist in preparing Construction Documents.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • College degree in accredited program;
  • Experienced in Revit;
  • 3-5 years' experience as part of Project Team, working with lead designer;
  • Exposure to all phases and activities of the project design process;
  • Capable of preparing presentations;
  • Excellent graphic skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Good organization skills;
  • Possess knowledge of current industry standards as it relates to materials and elements;
  • Possess knowledge of applicable industry sources.
