Your Duties

Execute the following tasks specifically related to CEQA/NEPA matters (Noise, Tree Removals, Historic Bldgs., Paleontological/Archaeological, Native American, etc.):

Task 1. Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan (MMRP)

  1. Manage staff efforts to prepare environmental progress narratives for the Westside PLE Monthly Status Reports to the FTA.
  2. Prepare Quarterly Status Report narratives for the PLE environmental reports
  3. Prepare the Quarterly Mitigation Measures Status Reports
  4. Update, Maintain and Report quarterly on the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan, which include the risk mitigation register.

 

Task 2. Cultural Resources Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (CRMMP)

  1. Secure information updates from Metro staff
  2. Manage the effort to update and maintain the Final CRMMP as may be required
  3. Distribute updated CRMMP for review and approvals

 

Task 3. Manage/Secure deliverables from:

  1. Noise Mitigation Consultant - TRC
  2. Archaeological & Paleontological Consultant - Cogstone
  3. AUR Contractors
  4. Metro
    • Environmental staff
    • Project Engineering
    • Construction Management
    • ROW Acquisition – Displacement & Relocation
    • Planning
    • Construction Relations

 

Task 4. Noise Mitigation Training

 

Task 5. Conduct monthly Environmental Mitigation Meetings

Your Capabilities and Credentials

10 + years of experience with a minimum BS degree in engineering, environmental, biology, urban planning or geology.

Experienced with management of groundwater and soil site investigations, (Phase I and II ESA's) soil and groundwater treatment systems, NPDES and Sewer discharge permitting, construction dewatering, asbestos and lead paint abatement and demolition protocols, contaminated waste management, profiling, UST/FST removals and regulations, State and Local SWPPP storm water regulations, SUSMP, Waste Water requirements, Construction Noise, CEQA and NEPA experience in a particular with historical buildings, archeology, paleontology, and Native American interactions. 

 

40hr. HAZWOPER certificate desired
Experienced working with various regulatory agencies, RWQCB, AQMD, DTSC, LADPW, LAFD. It is desired that Candidate has experience with transit related projects and should provide examples. FTA and Caltrans project experience is also desired.
