Your Duties

Stantec's New York City office is seeking an entry level Structural Engineer to prepare design plans, as well as construction documents and cost estimates for a variety of projects including: bridges, highways, buildings, railroad and transit infrastructure in NYC Metro area for clients including NYCT, NYSDOT, PANY&NJ, TBTA, NYCDOT and private developers.  Responsibilities include computer-aided design, field inspection, coordination with other engineering disciplines, construction support services, design and analyze highways and bridges, earth-retaining structures, underground subway stations, and urban infrastructure.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
