Stantec's Los Angeles office is currently looking for a Senior Transportation Estimator. This individual will have at least 10 years experience in the industry.

• The Sr. Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project drawings and technical specifications to determine scope of construction work to bid. 
• Organizes work elements and calculates quantities of work.  Prepares cost estimates for elements of a project coordinated by another estimator.
• Helps to evaluate scope of work and other factors impacting scope from bid documents.
• Prepares quote solicitations for material and subcontracts for review or implementation by Coordinating Estimator.
• Analyzes cost reports and prepares cost comparisons for review or implementation by Coordinating Estimator. Incorporates production and pricing decisions into the estimate
• Prepares detailed material take-offs
• Receives, organizes and compiles drawings and other documents issued for bid
